Bio

Shaheen Khan is working as Chairman, Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO). She is an Additional Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh. She did her Honours and Masters in Public Administration from Dhaka University. She did her second Masters in Internal Auditing and Management from City University, London, U.K. in 1993. She joined Bangladesh Civil Service, Audit and Accounts Cadre in 1983. She has worked in various positions in the Ministries of Finance, Health and Family Welfare, Shipping, Economic Relations Division. Prior to that, she also served in different offices under The Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh and under the Controller General of Accounts in various capacities. She has attended several seminars, workshops and training programs at home and abroad and visited U.K., Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Morocco, South Africa, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Korea etc. on official duty. She is a graduate of National Defence College, Dhaka.
