Abstract
A high resolution commercial imaging program
for agricult ural monitoring
This presentation will introduce a new business model designed to enable agricultural and other
wide area monitoring applications. BlackBridge will proactively task it’s constellation of 5 RapidEye
satellites to image all of northern India every 6 weeks, except during Monsoon. Within 24
hours the majority of the 5 m resolution imagery will beorthorectifedwith an RMSE better than 10
m and placed in the cloud for real time access by any user or application software. All data can
be accessed and used to create information products for one fixed fee. Potential uses of this new
program will be explored.
