LIDAR A TECHNOLOGICAL APPROACH FOR MINING EXPLORATION
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), is an emerging 3D mapping technology that employs a laser to rapidly scan and image volumes and surficial areas. LiDAR technology provides benefits like automatic data acquisition over entire slope, remote data acquisition for improved safety, rapid data collection, able to provide a high resolution 3D Digital Terrain Model and cost effective. Mining industry has all time big challenges like volume calculation, illegal mining, environmental issues, change detection, slope analysis, etc. With above complexities, ADCC provides an integrated solution for mining like 3D plan of the mines (open cast), Stockpile volume calculation, Change detection planning, Asset mapping, Route network planning, Slope stability analysis, Bench slope analysis, Volume and overburden calculation, Environmental analysis. ADCC aim to provide one stop solution to mining industry to increase their production with absolute no loses in time and cost.
