Surveyor General of Bangladesh Brigadier GeneralMdAbulKhair,ndc,P Engg was commissioned in Bangladesh Army on 23 December 1983. He is a Civil Engineer and completed his masters in engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He is a Fellow in Institution of Engineers Bangladesh Professional Societies. During his long and decorative military career, he participatedin number of courses at home and abroad.It may be mentioned that he attended 'Engineer Officer Combat Engineering Course' at College of Military Engineering, Pune India. He has attended GIS Course in Military Institute of Science and Technology. Brigadier GeneralKhair is experienced in Planning, Designing, Surveying, Supervising and Construction of Roads, Building, Airfield, Bridges, Flyover, Underpass, Abason and other civil Engineering Structures. He was the Project Director of numerous national projects those are being implemented by Bangladesh Army. A few are the HateerJheel, Banani Fly Over, Marine Drive Road at Cox's Bazar, Six Road Project at Chittagong Hill Tracts, Mirpur-Dhaka Cantonment link road etc. Besides working in Bangladesh, he also served with Multinational Force in Iran, Iraq and Sudan under the umbrella of United Nations.
