P. Srinivasulu joined NRSC (then National Remote Sensing Agency) in 1991 after obtaining his Master’s degree in Instrumentation & Communication Systems from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. Currently he is General Manager for Aerial Services & Digital Mapping Area of NRSC and is responsible for planning and executing aerial surveys for various applications from mapping to atmospheric research. He led the team towards successful completion of survey and mapping of 66000 sq.km area of major flood prone zones in the country for ISRO’s Disaster Management Support Programme and mapping of coastline from Cochin to Sunderabans for INCOIS Tsunami Warning System using LiDAR technology.
