Abstract

Mining Solutions with Faro Laser Scanner X Series
Laser Scanner was considered a very expensive instrument 10 years back. Only handful of research organization was utilizing this Technology. Since then the cost has substantially decreased with Faro being instrumental in it. Faro has made it possible for people in different verticals like Forensic, Mining, Surveying, VFX, Heritage Conservation, Ship Building, etc to utilize this Technology. My presentation would be specifically focusing on solutions in mining industry.
