Dr P G Diwakar, Deputy Director, RSAA, NRSC is a Doctorate in Participatory Geomatics from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Suratkal. He has held the posts of Director, Earth Observation Systems, Member Secretary, Planning Committee – National Natural Resources Management System and Programme Director, Disaster Management Support Program in Indian Space Research Organisation, Bangalore. • As a Team Leader, played key roles in delivering many important applications solutions like Bhuvan Web Portal and IT tools for Sujala Watershed Development Programme. Dr. Diwakar is the recipient of many awards which include ISRO awards, national and international recognition for Innovative use of IT and geospatial technologies.
