Abstract
Enterprise GIS
At the turn of this decade, GIS is been increasingly considered as a mainstream technology geo-enabling enterprise IT systems for effective management and accounting. Convergence of Technologies in due course has also rapidly increased the need for innovative geospatial technologies nexus with Cloud Computing, Social Media, Mobility, Big Data and other such enterprise Information initiatives providing paradigm shift in shaping the Information and Technology Landscape. GIS now effectively integrates with other applications to maintain location data and to support enterprise business processes, allowing a broader variety of information and phenomena to be accounted for than in any standalone application. Web services standards have improved mobility technologies and real time network has made GIS more mature in diverse application areas. Geo enabled web services brings the agility of GIS to the enterprise business processes and decision making. Rolta GeoFusion suite provides the right tools and technology interoperable interfaces to morph GIS into connected enterprise. Rolta has successfully deployed spectrum of GeoERP&GeoIT solutions spanning across domains and address a whole gamut of business problems such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Government, Transportation, Environment, Safety, Security and Law Enforcement. In this session, you will observe how Rolta Platform focusses on planning, building, and managing the next-generation solutions – featuring extremely innovative Information interoperability, IT/OT Integrations, ERP, GIS, Mobility, Social, Cloud, Big Data Analytics and Security technologies for driving Business Excellence. Rolta Geospatial Fusion (GSF) Suites play key roles in re-use of earlier investments in legacy GIS technologies, while seamlessly bringing in new age Business Agility and Spatial Analytics to technology enabled businesses across multitude domains and industries.

Abstract
Emerging Trends
Geospatial solutions and data information is getting more accessible than ever before with a rapid growth in audience. There has been a phenomenal Industry progression which is expected to grow by 10 to 15% in the next five years, with annual revenues of US$ 3 billion in the Indian geospatial service industry alone. The estimated global geospatial revenues are between US$ 150 to 250 billion. The key drivers for this growth have resulted owing to emerging trends and technologies influenced by developments in hardware and equipment, large data volume handling and automated processing capabilities, 3D visualization applications, freely available data sources for imagery and elevation models. Other contributors in defining developments are owing to an increased demand for location-based solutions, geospatial mobility, crowdsourcing or volunteered information, data aggregation and cloud computing. Based on the present and predicted application areas and Users, a few challenges emerge for organizations offering geospatial solutions and services. These challenges will entail more business consolidations and partnerships amongst geospatial and non-geospatial companies, necessity to offer competitive cost structures for direct solutions rather than just data. The advent of commercially usable high resolution satellite imagery with improved accuracies, aerial imagery and data from other mobile sensors necessitates solutions with raid automated processing capabilities and large volume handling. The thrust will be on integration of contemporary IT solutions and geospatial services to cater to a global audience across all industries.
